    Description

    Very nicely handmade (machine sewn) 18th Century Gentleman's Frock coat with soutache trim embellishments.
    Sized length for a man 6' or taller and quite large (52" chest measurement)
    Fully lined in same fabric, nice deep pleated vents at side and rear indicate French & Indian War era (1750's) but can easily be used up through American Revolutionary era.  I believe fabric is a mid weight cotton so is very versatile all year long to wear.
    Working pockets.  Buttons are brass domed style bought from living history sutlery.
    Sorry for the wrinkles, has been packed for a year in a tote.
    * does have one very small (1/2") tear on lower left rear skirt area, not really noticeable when coat is worn.
