Selling my 1936 Antique Frigidaire General Motors Refrigerator Meter-Miser Deluxe!
This refrigerator came with the house when I bought it in 2014. The original owners and builders of the house had brought it with them in 1952 when they moved in. I was told that it still worked, but I plugged it in for an hour or so and it did not seem to get cold. However, the motor runs and the light goes on.
Overall the fridge is in great shape, especially for its age. It appears to be all original except for the green paint stripes that the original owner had done to help it match the basement décor. The hinges and latch work perfectly and the rubber seals are in amazing shape. It could use a good cleaning.
The fridge also comes with Frigidaire branded ice cube trays and an odd-ball Westinghouse tray. Original instruction manual here too!
For anyone who wants to simply clean this thing up and get it working to the point that it gets cold, this thing would be perfect.
Time for me to make some space in my basement.
