Antique Cameo on Green Ribbon, Nice Look for 18th C. lady reenactors

This cameo brooch is certainly vintage, I am not sure how old but my mother bought it as an antique over 40 years ago if my recollection is correct. The pin hook is just a curved "crook" known as a "C" clasp and therefore indicating the cameo brooch is not a modern spring clasp you pull open.
As a living history reenactor for over 30 years, I have worn this on occasion as shown on the necklace stand with the looped green ribbon around my neck which is a correct 18th century period look for such a pin.  The pin is worn over the chest on one side just above the bust and the loops hang free with the ribbon (48") serving like a choker about the neck.  Its a lovely look!
The filigree on this pin in simply lovely, the pin is in great condition, no cracks or blemishes, and cameo is secure in setting, pin works fine. The metal setting could probably use a polishing if a shiny surface was desired, I liked the patina.  I am not sure of the composition of the metal, could be silver, but not sure.
