9 piece bodice and 2 piece sleeves contribute to a smooth fit and authentic style. Pleated peplum. Medium weight polyester in royal blue is underlined with cotton for durability, structure and comfort. No boning- can easily wear with modern undergarments or over a traditional shift. Fully lined in polyester crepe back satin. Stomachacher/ inset snaps at the edges underneath the front lapels. Metallic polyester cord complete the historic look. If you need it smaller, you can easily change the location of the snaps. Machine washable, gentle cycle in cold water. Hang to dry, cool iron.
The first 4 photos show it on me wading a T-shirt bra. I’m 5’6”, 145 lbs and a B cup on my good days, so it’s a size too big for me.
Photos on the dress form show it worn over a medium bum roll to give you an idea of peplum fullness as though it was ver a period skirt. My dress form is too small for this size, shoulders and bust look a little saggy in the photos but it fills up very nicely on an actual larger person 🙂
