Revere Ware 1801 Pre 1968 4 and 8 Cup Stove Top Coffee Pot Percolators Copper Clad USA. Condition is "Used". Both percolators are complete, and in great condition. There is a small chip in the glass topper of the 8 Cup pot, but will not affect the brewing process.
Process Patent
Used Revere Ware is often labeled “vintage” because it looks old, rather than because it has the original, thick cladding – Since the difference isn’t visible, how does a buyer know which is which? Simple, look for the “Process Patent” hallmark. All Revere Ware made with the original, thick copper bottom was imprinted with the logo – (“18 – Revere’s Profile – 01” over “Revere Ware” inside a circle), AND carries the inscription: “Pat.Pend.” (prior to 1941), or “Made Under Process Patent”(1946-1968). Newer Revere Ware (made after 1968) has a much simpler logo, or has no note regarding “patents”.
