Stunning Original Batik Painting Malaysian Village w/ Boats Artist Signed Chang
The serene colors on this original batik painting are wonderful.  The glow of the blue and pink sky fades into the deeper blues of the water.  At the same time the orange of the house roofs and the yellows of the boats pop with color.  Very nice composition.  Fantastic colors.  I am not sure of its age.
Condition:  Very Nice Unframed Condition, Never Framed.  This art is glued mounted on a piece of paper which wraps around and opens in the front as a mat as shown.  I believe the fabric to be a light cotton, but I am not sure.  There is a brown mark on the boat in the front of the painting, but it seems to be paint.  I did not try to remove it.  On the back of the fabric, I believe the small dots are glue marks where the fabric is glued to the paper.  They do not show through to the front.  The paper matting the painting shows signs of storage.  Please see pictures.
Measures:   The painting exposed in the paper mat is 10 1/4" x 7 1/2", the material it is painted on is a little bigger than that.  The paper mat measures 15" x 11".  The paper on the back of the painting has 3 smudges which do not affect the painting.  Could be re-matted.   Will be shipped flat.
