Vintage MCM Three Quart 11 Piece Bean Pot Set - Mid-Century Glazed Pottery~Made in the USA
This awesome bean pot, and it's 8 matching bowls and serving ladle have exceptional style and are quite rare.....I have not been able to find similar items in my search!
The Pottery is designed as a coiled grass basket or bee skep, in a beautiful yellow ochre glaze. Handles resemble unfurled fern fronds. The bean pot is marked "USA" with an indistinct makers' mark (please see photo).
This would make an awesome gift for a lover of old things and old ways! And, a good ol' pot of beans - simmered for hours with a ham bone - is certainly on the list of cool weather comfort foods!
The pot holds 3 quarts (3 liters) of liquid, and measures:
12 inches wide fr handle to handle
5 3/4 inches high (about 7" H w/ cover)
The 8 small serving bowls each measure:

The ladle measures 9.5 inches L x 3-5/8" wide at bowl
